Company Story

The Durian family has been involved with residential construction for about 50 years. Steve Durian began carpentry work as a summer job in college, since then, he has taught many young people in High School Building Trades in Geneseo, Illinois.

His son, Scott had always been interested and exposed to the trade but never made it a full time career. Opening in 2009, Durian Builders was born from an opportunity that Scott took with his dad to make his love for carpentry his "day job". Since then, we have hired experienced full time carpenters that share the same passion for the construction trade. We are a family business and that includes our dedicated staff!
